    1. 2 C. rasins

    2. 1 C. water

    3. 1 C. lard

    4. 2 C. sugar

    5. 3 eggs -- beaten

    6. 1 tsp. vanilla

    7. 4 C. flour

    8. 1 tsp. baking powder

    9. 1 tsp. baking soda

    10. 1 tsp. cinnamon

    11. 1 1/2 tsp. salt

    1. Preparation : INSTRUCTIONS Cook rasins in water for 5 minutes.Cream lard and sugar.Add rasins and vanilla.Add sifted dry ingredients.Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookies sheet about 1 1/2 " apart.Bake in moderate oven 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.Remove baked cookies from pan immediately.
