  1. 1/2 cup butter

  2. 1 cup flour

  3. 4 cups chicken broth

  4. 1 1/2 cups skim milk

  5. 1 pound velveeta

  6. 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce

  7. 1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke

  1. Preparation : Melt butter in soup kettle, add flour and cook 2 minutes, whisking until blended. Gradually add broth and milk. Add cheese. Cook until melted and thick. Add Worcestershire sauce and liquid smoke. simmer covered for 5 minutes. this is great as a soup, sprinkle seasoned croutons, popcorn, rice, the list is endless. Also good as a dip for pretzels or fresh bread chunks.
