  1. 2 eggs

  2. 2/3 cup sugar

  3. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  4. 8 ounces white baking chocolate, melted and cooled

  5. 1/3 cup butter, melted

  6. 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  7. 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder

  8. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  9. 1/2 to 1 cup chopped salted cashews or pecans

  1. In a large bowl, beat the eggs, sugar and vanilla on medium speed for 1 minute. Beat in chocolate and butter. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; gradually add to chocolate mixture. Stir in cashews. Spread into a greased 9-in. square baking pan. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack. Cut into bars. Yield: 2 dozen.
