  1. 1 cup 146g / 5.1oz Cheese - shredded*

  2. 4 oz 113g Green chiles**

  3. 1/4 cup 59ml Half and half 2 tablespoons 30ml Onion - finely chopped

  4. 2 teaspoons 10ml Cumin - ground

  5. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Salt

  1. * Use either Cheddar or Monterey Jack Cheese (4 oz)

  2. ** Use 1 4-oz can of chopped green chiles, drained.

  3. Heat all ingredients over low heat, stirring constantly, until the cheese is melted. Serve warm with tortilla chips.

  4. Makes 1 1/4 cups dip.
