  1. 1 1/2 pound(s) ripe plums , each cut in half 1/3cup(s) (sliced) natural almonds

  2. 1/3 cup(s) packed brown sugar

  3. 1/4 cup(s) all-purpose flour

  4. 3 tablespoon(s) margarine or butter , softened Vanilla ice cream

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Arrange plums, cut-side up, in one layer in shallow baking dish. In medium bowl, with hand, mix almonds and next 3 ingredients until mixture comes together. Sprinkle over plums. Bake 25 to 35 minutes, until plums are tender. Serve hot, with ice cream, if you like.
