  5. 1/2 c Semisweet chocolate chips

  6. 4 tb Finely chopped fresh mint

  7. 48 Almonds, toasted and coarsly

  8. Chopped 24 Fresh figs, halved

  9. Preheat the oven to 350.

  10. In a small mixing bowl, combine the chips, mint, and almonds, stirring

  11. well. Press a bit of this mixture into each fig half.

  12. Lightly spray or wipe a baking sheet with vegetable oil. Place the

  13. figs on the baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes. Serve warm or at

  14. room temperature. --
