  1. 1 can (15 oz) sliced peaches

  2. 1/3 cup packed brown sugar

  3. 2 Tablespoons all purpose flour

  4. 1/8 teaspoon salt

  5. 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon

  6. 1 Tablespoon lemon juice Topping:

  7. 3/4 cup all purpose flour

  8. 3 Tablespoons granulated sugar

  9. 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

  10. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  11. 3 Tablespoons cold unsalted butter

  12. 6 teaspoons milk

  1. Drain peaches, reserving juice. Place peaches in an ungreased 1- quart baking dish. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, salt and cinnamon. Stir in lemon juice and reserved peach juice. Pour over the peaches. Bake at 425 degrees F for 10 minutes or until hot. While the peaches are baking, prepare the topping. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and butter; cut with fork or pastry blender until crumbly. Stir in milk just until moistened. Drop by spoonfuls over hot peaches. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
