  1. 2 tbsp butter

  2. 4 cups miniature marshmallows, or 40 regular marshmallows (10 ounces)

  3. 1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

  4. 6 cups crispy rice cereal

  5. 2-3 tbsp Halloween-themed sprinkles

  1. Coat a 9-inch by 13-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.

  2. Melt butter over a low heat in a large, heavy saucepan. Add marshmallows and stir until melted. Stir in pumpkin pie spice. Add crispy rice cereal and stir until well coated.

  3. Remove from heat, then transfer rice mixture into the baking pan using a spatula, and press into the pan. If the rice sticks to the spatula, try pressing down using parchment paper.

  4. Scatter Halloween sprinkles and press them into the treats using parchment or wax paper.
