  1. 473.18 ml fresh asparagus , trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces

  2. 473.18 ml fresh spinach

  3. 473.18 ml fresh strawberries , sliced

  4. 1 small red onion , thinly sliced

  5. 118 1/59 ml pecans , chopped & toasted (can be candied if preferred)

  6. 29 1/28 ml balsamic vinegar

  7. 7 1/39 ml lemon juice (lime juice can be substituted if preferred)

  8. 14.79 ml honey

  1. Blanch asparagus & cool.

  2. Toss the spinach, asparagus, onion, pecans and strawberries together in a bowl.

  3. In a small bowl, combine the dressing ingredients and mix well.

  4. Pour dressing over salad and toss.

  5. Chill before serving.
