  1. 1 cup mayonnaise

  2. 1/4 cup distilled white vinegar

  3. 2/3 cup white sugar

  4. 2 1/2 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard

  5. 4 cups uncooked elbow macaroni; cooked and drained

  6. 1 1/2 teaspoons salt

  7. 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

  8. 1 large onion; chopped

  9. 2 stalks celery; chopped

  10. 8-10 black olives; sliced

  11. 3 large carrots; shredded

  1. In a small bowl, combine first four ingredients for the dressing.

  2. Mix together remaining ingredients in a large bowl.

  3. Add the dressing and stir.

  4. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving, but preferably overnight.
