  1. 1 (16 ounce) package macaroni

  2. 8 ea hard boiled eggs , chopped; or more or none

  3. 2 red bell peppers , chopped

  4. 1 green bell pepper , chopped; optional

  5. 1 bunch chopped green onions

  6. 1 ea onion, medium; diced

  7. 5 stalk celery , diced ; or more

  8. 1 ea parsley ,

  9. 1/4 bunch; cut finely

  10. 1 tablespoon olive oil

  11. 1 cup mayonnaise

  12. 1 cup buttermilk

  13. 4 tbsp vinegar

  14. 1 packet dry vegetable soup mix or more; onion soup optional

  15. shrimp for decoration with paprika

  16. 1/4 cup relish

  17. 4 ea parsley stems with leaves

  18. 1/2 cup pickle juice

  19. 1 tbsp. mustard djion type wet

  20. 1 tablespoon celery salt

  21. 1 tablespoon poatato salad seasoning salt

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil with uncooked eggs in it. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente. Drain, and rinse with cold water until no longer hot. Transfer noodles to a large bowl.

  2. Cool, peel and chop eggs and mix in chopped eggs with noodles.

  3. Stir in red bell peppers, green bell peppers, green onions, onion, celery and olive oil. Mix in mayonnaise, vinegar and soup mix and rest of ingredients except shrimp and eggs. Refrigerate at least a few hours before serving. I wait overnight and add more buttermilk if dry.

  4. Before decorating, check to see if pasta has absorbed all the liquid and add more buttermilk, if necessary, Decorate with shrimp and paprika or Old Bay before serving.
