  1. 2 pound chuck roast

  2. 1/2 cup flour

  3. 1 teaspoon salt

  4. 1 teaspoon pepper

  5. 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

  6. 1 small white onion chopped

  7. 1 small green pepper chopped

  8. 1 stalk celery thinly sliced

  9. 16 ounces canned stewed tomatoes undrained

  1. Combine flour, salt and pepper then beat onto both sides of meat.

  2. In large skillet heat oil over medium high heat then brown meat.

  3. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 2 hours.
