    1. One-half cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

    2. One-half cup peanut butter flavored chips

    3. 16 large marshmallows

    4. One-half stick butter

    5. One-half teaspoon pure vanilla extract

    6. 2 cups oat ring cereal

    7. 2 cups chow mien noodles

    8. Small red cinnamon cookies

    9. Chow Mien noodles (for garnish)

    1. In a large saucepan, melt the chocolate and peanut butter chips, the marshmallows and butter over low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add the vanilla and mix. Add the cereal and noodles and mix gently but thoroughly. Working quickly, drop the mixture by tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper, shaping to resemble the body of spiders. While spiders are still soft, press two candies on top for the eyes and poke in the extra chow mien noodles (6 on side of each cookie) for the legs. Candies will harden.

    2. Makes about 2 1/2 dozen
