  1. 4 1/2 lb chuck roast

  2. 2 C water

  3. 2 C ketchup

  4. 1 T chili powder

  5. 1 T white sugar

  6. 1 t salt

  7. 6 big potatos , peeled and cut in big pieces

  8. 1 big onion , cut up

  9. 6 carrots sliced

  10. 2 T flour

  11. 1/4 C water

  1. heat oven to 350 degrees place roast in pan.

  2. cover with 2 C water, ketchup, chili powder , sugar,' salt.

  3. cook 1 1/2 hr add vegetables bake another 1 1/2 hr or till meat and veggies are tender.

  4. remove meat and veggies from pan.

  5. Mix flour and 1/4 C water.

  6. add to sauce to make gravy.
