  1. 3 Small heads bibb lettuce - cleaned, and Torn into bite-size pieces

  2. 1 1/2 lbs 681g / 24oz Fresh spinach - cleaned, and Torn into bite-size pieces

  3. 3 Oranges - peeled, sectioned, And seeded

  4. 3/4 Red onion - sliced, and (medium) Separated into rings

  5. 3/4 cup 109g / 3.8oz Walnuts - coarsely chopped

  6. 3 teaspoons 15ml Butter Sweet and Sour Dressing

  7. 1 1/2 cups 355ml Vegetable oil

  8. 3/4 cup 177ml Vinegar

  9. 3/4 cup 148g / 5 1/5oz Sugar

  10. 1 1/2 teaspoons 7 1/2ml Salt

  11. 1 1/2 teaspoons 7 1/2ml Celery seed

  12. 1 1/2 teaspoons 7 1/2ml Dry mustard

  13. 1 1/2 teaspoons 7 1/2ml Paprika

  14. 1 1/2 teaspoons 7 1/2ml Grated onion

  1. Recipe Instructions In a large bowl, combine the lettuce, spinach, oranges, and onion. Using a saucepan, saute the walnuts in butter until lightly browned and add to the lettuce mixture. To make the dressing, combine all of the ingredients in a jar, shake well and chill in refrigerator. Shake before serving. Pour on top of salad and serve. This recipe yields 10 to 12 servings.
