    1. 1/2 ts Grated orange peel

    2. 2 tb Fine chopped walnuts

    3. 1 pk (3-oz) softened cream

    4. cheese

    5. 1 tb Orange juice

    6. 16 Slices party rye bread

    7. 4 Slices (4 oz) thinly sliced ham

    8. 15 Pitted sweet cherries

    1. Combine cream cheese, orange juice and peel, and walnuts.

    2. Spread about 1/2 tb of the mixture on each slice of bread.

    3. Cut each slice of ham into 4 triangles; place one triangle on top of cream cheese mixture.

    4. Top each canape with a pitted cherry, secured with a toothpick.
