  1. 1/2 c Margarine or butter

  2. 1 c Brown sugar; packed

  3. 3 tb Flour

  4. 2 Egg yolks

  5. 1 c Milk

  6. 1/4 ts Salt

  7. 1 ts Vanilla

  1. In iron skillet, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat,stirring constantly. Stir in flour. Beat egg yolks and milk together and add to the skillet mixture. Stir constantly; add salt & vanilla. Stir until mixture is thick. Cool. Pour in a BAKED pie shell. Make meringue with egg whites. Bake at 400 until meringue is golden.JM. --
