  1. 1 cup applesauce

  2. 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips

  3. 2 1/2 tablespoons granulated sugar

  4. 1 1/3 cups graham cracker crumbs

  5. 1/4 cup powdered milk

  6. 1/4 cup raisins, chopped

  7. 1/4 cup slivered almonds

  1. In a small saucepan, bring applesauce, chocolate chips and sugar to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly; remove from heat. Combine graham cracker crumbs, dry milk and raisins in a mixing bowl. Add chocolate mixture; mix well. Pour into wax paper-lined 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan. Cut into diamond shapes and sprinkle with slivered almonds. Refrigerate to set.
