Salt Dough Ornaments Recipe

+ Directions : Preheat oven to 325 Stir water and salt together for one minute. Mix in flour until absorbed. Knead for two minutes. Roll out on a floured board to 1/4" thickness. Form into shapes with cookie cutters or mold as desired. Using a toothpick, put your initials and the year on the back. Bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours until firm. Larger ornaments will take longer than small ones. Let cool. Use acrylic varnish on some to preserve their natural beauty. Decorate others using acrylic paints and varnish after paint dries to enhance the colors. Be sure to cover both sides with varnish. Typed by Delores E Rowe
