  5. 4 Apples; peel/slice

  6. 1 tb Sugar

  7. 1 tb Frozen apple juice concentra

  8. - undiluted

  9. 2 ts Ground cinnamon

  10. 1 1/2 c Unbleached flour

  11. 1 1/2 c Whole wheat flour

  12. 3/4 c Sugar

  13. 1 tb Baking powder

  14. 1/2 ts Salt

  15. 1/4 c Applesauce

  16. 1 c Apple juice

  17. 4 ts Vanilla

  18. 1 Egg

  19. 5 Egg whites

  20. 1/2 c Orange juice

  21. 1/4 c Canola oil

  22. Spray ring mold or fluted tube pan with nonstick

  23. vegetable coating. Place apples in large bowl. In

  24. 1 tablespoon sugar,

  25. tablespoon apple juice concentrate and cinnamon. Pour

  26. over sliced apples and stir until apples are evenly

  27. covered. Set aside. In separate bowl, mix together

  28. flours, 3/4 cup sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in

  29. oil, 1 cup apple juice concentrate, vanilla, egg, egg

  30. whites and orange juice. Pour half of batter into prepared mold. Layer half of apple mixture over batter

  31. then repeat with remaining batter and apples. Bake at

  32. 350 degrees F for 1 1/2 hours, remove from oven. Allow

  33. to cool before removing from pan. Nutrition (per
