  1. 9" single pie crust

  2. 2 1/4 cups pure Maple syrup (darker the more flavor)

  3. 3/4 cup light cream

  4. 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

  5. 4 eggs

  6. 1 cup finely chopped walnuts or pecans

  1. Whisk together the maple syrup, cream, flour and eggs until blended; stir in walnuts or peacans. Pour into crust. Bake in 375F oven for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 350F and bake for 30 to 35 minutes longer - or until set. Let cool on a rack.
