  1. 1/4 cup bulgur (cracked wheat)

  2. 1/4 cup long grain brown rice

  3. 2 Tbsp. barley

  4. 2 Tbsp. cornmeal

  5. 1/4 cup rolled oats

  6. 1/4 cup brown sugar

  7. 1/3 cup dried cranberries

  8. 1/4 cup dried cherries

  9. 1/3 cup chopped dried apricots

  10. 1 tsp. cinnamon

  11. 3 cups water

  12. 1 Tbsp. vanilla

  13. 2 Tbsp. toasted sesame seeds

  1. Spray the inside of 1-1/2 quart slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. Combine all the grains, the dried fruit and cinnamon in slow cooker and mix well. Stir in water and vanilla. Cover slow cooker and cook for 5 to 7 hours on LOW. Stir the cereal before serving. You can add more water or light cream to make the cereal creamier if you'd like. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve. Serves 4 If you have a newer crockpot, check for doneness at 4 hours.
