  2. 1/3 cup butter

  3. 6 cups fresh or frozen peas, thawed

  4. 3 tablespoons minced fresh parsley

  5. 3 tablespoons minced fresh basil

  6. 1 teaspoon sugar

  7. 3/4 teaspoon salt

  8. 1/2 teaspoon pepper

  1. Herbed Peas Recipe photo by Taste of Home In a large skillet, saute onions in butter until tender. Stir in the peas, parsley, basil, sugar, salt and pepper; saute for 3 minutes.

  2. Reduce heat; cover and cook 3-5 minutes longer or until peas are tender. Serve with a slotted spoon. Yield: 8 servings.
