  5. 24 Clams

  6. 3 c Water

  7. 1/2 lb Pork, diced

  8. 3 tb Butter

  9. 1 Onion, sliced

  10. 3 Potatoes, diced

  11. 1 3/4 c Half & half

  12. 1 tb Soy sauce

  13. 2 Cloves garlic, crushed

  14. 1 ts Basil

  15. 1 ts Parsley

  16. 1 ts Thyme

  17. Combine clams, their liquid and water; bring to a boil. Drain clams,

  18. reserving liquid. Remove clams from shells; chop meat; set aside. In

  19. butter, fry pork with onions, until onions are clear. Add potatoes and liquid from clams; simmer 20 minutes. Stir in half & half, seasonings, and clams. Heat through. Serve hot. --
