  2. 2 teaspoons 10ml Water

  3. 2 teaspoons 10ml Butter or margarine

  4. 2 tablespoons 30ml Slivered almonds - toasted

  5. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Lemon juice

  1. Recipe Instructions Place green beans in a small nonmetal bowl. Sprinkle with water. Micro-cook, covered, on 100% power for 5 to 6 minutes or just till tender. Let stand, covered, while preparing butter mixture. For butter mixture, in a custard cup micro-cook butter or margarine, uncovered, on 100% power for 30 to 45 seconds, or till melted. Stir in toasted almonds and lemon juice. Drain green beans; spoon butter mixture over green beans.
