  1. Tuna and Tomato Pasta

  2. 425gm tin tuna (in springwater)

  3. 1 finely chopped onion

  4. 1 tsp minced garlic

  5. 1/2 medium sized capsicum diced

  6. 8 medium sized mushrooms sliced

  7. 1 410gm tin tomatoes chopped

  8. 4 tbs tomato paste

  9. 1 tsp mixed herbs

  10. pinch of basil, salt and sugar

  11. Saute onion and garlic until transparent, then add capsicum and mushrooms and fry until soft. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, herbs,

  12. basil, salt and sugar, and simmer for 5-10 minutes. Lastly add

  13. the drained tuna and simmer for a further 10 minutes.

  14. This pasta sauce can then be used on any preferred type of pasta.
