  1. In a mixer bowl using an electric mixer on medium speed, cream 1 cup softened butter and cream cheese until light and fluffy. Add 2 cups flour and mix well. Shape into 16 balls and press each over the bottom and sides of a miniature muffin tin. Combine eggs, brown sugar, 2 tablespoons melted butter, and vanilla in a bowl; mix well. Spoon into the muffin cups. In a bowl, combine sugar and 1 1/2 cups flour. Cut in 1/2 cup butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over the tart filling then bake at 400°F (205°C) for 20 minutes.
