  1. 2/3 c. oleo (butter)

  2. 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar

  3. 3 eggs

  4. 1 teas. vanilla

  5. 1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa

  6. 2 1/4 c. flour

  7. 1 teas. baking powder

  8. 1 teas. soda

  9. 1/4 teas. salt

  10. 1 c. water

  11. 2/3 c. sauerkraut,rinsed,drained chopped fine-yup

  1. Cream oleo and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients, add alternately with water to egg mixture. Stir in kraut. YUP! Bake in greased and floured 9x13-inch baking pan in a 350^ oven for 30-35 minutes. FROSTING: 1 c. brown sugar,packed 1/2 c. milk 1 Tbl. oleo 1 teas. vanilla Boil to soft ball stage,230^, remove from heat add oleo and vanilla. Beat well.
