  1. 100g butter,softened

  2. 3/4 cup sugar

  3. 1 egg

  4. 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

  5. 1 1/4 cups champion standard plain flour

  6. 2 teaspoons edmonds baking powder

  7. 1 tablespoon cocoa SAUCE

  8. 2 cups boiling water

  9. 1/2 cup brown sugar

  10. 1 tablespoon edmonds feilders cornflour

  11. 2 tablespoons cocoa

  1. Directions: Beat butter,sugar,egg and vanilla togther.Sift flour,baking powder and cocoa togther.Fold into beaten mixture.Spoon mixture into greased oven proof dish SAUCE Combine all ingredients. Sprikle sauce mixture over sponge. Bake at 180'C
