  1. 1 tablespoon paprika

  2. 2 teaspoons dried thyme

  3. 1 teaspoon onion powder

  4. 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  5. 1/2 teaspoon rubbed sage

  6. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  7. 1/2 teaspoon pepper

  8. 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  9. 4 boneless beef top loin steaks (12 ounces each )

  1. In a small bowl, combine the first eight ingredients. Rub about 1 teaspoon of spice mixture over each side of steaks. Grill, covered, over medium heat for 6-8 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a meat thermometer should read 145°; medium, 160°; well-done, 170°). Yield: 4 servings.
