  1. 2 c Sugar

  2. 2 c Flour

  3. 1/2 lb Butter

  4. 1 c -- Water

  5. 4 tb Cocoa

  6. 1/2 c Buttermilk

  7. 1 t Vanilla

  8. 2 Eggs -- beaten

  9. 1 t Baking soda

  10. --FROSTING-- 1/4 c Butter

  11. 3 ts Milk

  12. 2 ts Cocoa

  13. 2 c Sugar, confectioners

  14. 1 t Vanilla extract

  15. 1 c Nuts -- chopped

  16. 20 minutes at

  17. 375 F. Let cool til just warm and frost with Sheet Cake Frosting. Frosting: Melt butter, milk and cocoa together. Remove from heat. Add powdered sugar, vanilla extract and chopped nuts. Beat well and spread on frosting while both cake and frosting are warm.
