  1. 2 pounds sirloin steaks

  2. 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

  3. 1/8 teaspoon salt

  4. 1/4 cup chopped green onions

  5. 3 teaspoons butter

  6. 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper

  1. Sprinkle both sides of steaks with garlic powder and salt; set aside. Saute chopped green onion in butter until tender-crisp. Remove the green onions and set aside. Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon pepper in the skillet; add the steaks and cook over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes. Sprinkle the top with 1/2 teaspoon pepper, turn, and continue cooking for 5 to 7 minutes, or until done. Serve steak with the sauteed onion on top.
