  1. 2 tablespoons butter

  2. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  3. 6 large eggs

  4. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  5. 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

  6. 1/2 cup crushed saltine crackers

  7. 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  8. 1/2 cup heavy cream

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Melt butter in a baking dish, sprinkle with 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. Drop in eggs, sprinkle with salt and pepper, cover with crushed crackers mixed with 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese. Drizzle with cream and bake for 15 minutes.
