  1. Slice onions and fry2)In a blender mix the coconut,tomato, green pepper, garam masala, coriander powder, green cardamom, salt, and fried onions to make a fine paste3)In a thick-bottom pot, heat oil and add the cumin seeds.

  2. Add blended paste to the pot4)Allow the paste to cook for 5-10 minutes (until oil appears over the gravy)

  3. 5)Add chicken to the gravy and stir. Place on low-medium flame and cook for 20 minutes or until the chicken is tender.

  4. Garnish with cilantro and serve with hot white rice** The same gravy can be used for a vegetarian version using paneer instead of chicken
