  13. 1 14 1/2 oz Ca whole tomatoes

  14. Undrained and chopped 1/4 c Tomato sauce

  15. 3/4 c Uncooked long-grain rice

  16. 1 Bay leaf

  17. 1 Dash red pepper

  18. 1/2 t Beef-flavored bouillon

  19. Granules

  20. 1/2 c Boiling water

  21. 1 t Chili powder

  22. 1/2 teaspoon sugar Saute first

  23. 4 ingredients in hot

  24. oil in a large skillet until tender; drain.Drain

  25. tomatoes, reserving liquid. Add enough water to tomato

  26. liquid to measure 1 cup. Add tomatoes, tomato liquid,

  27. tomato sauce, rice, bay leaf, and red pepper to beef

  28. mixture, stirring well. Bring mixture to a boil;

  29. cover, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes. Dissolve

  30. bouillon granules in boiling water; add to rice

  31. mixture. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spoon into an

  32. 8-inch square baking dish. Cover and bake at

  33. 35 minutes. Remove bay leaf. Yield:
