  1. 1 3/4 cups dried mixed fruit, chopped

  2. 1/2 cup golden raisins

  3. 1 cinnamon stick

  4. 4 cups water

  5. 2 1/4 cups pineapple juice

  6. 1/2 cup cherry jam

  7. 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  8. 2 tablespoons tapioca

  9. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  10. 1 orange, supremed*

  1. Combine chopped dried mixed fruit, golden raisins, cinnamon stick, and water in a kettle. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes, or until the fruit is tender. Stir in pineapple juice, cherry jam, sugar, tapioca, salt, and sectioned orange. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 additional minutes, stirring occasionally. Cover and chill for 3 hours before serving.
