  1. 3 cups flour

  2. 1 tsp salt

  3. 1 1/4 cup shortening

  4. 1 egg , beaten

  5. 1 tbsp distilled white vinegar

  6. 1/4 cup water

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a large bowl mix flour and salt. Cut in shortening with two butter knives or mix on low in food processor. In separate bowl, mix together egg, vinegar and water. Drizzle wet mixture into dry mixture, cutting it in. Roll out dough and fit into pie pan. Bake for 12 minutes if pre-cooking is necessary.
