  7. 1/2 c pearl tapioca

  8. 2 c water

  9. 6 apples -- peeled and cored

  10. 1/2 c sugar

  11. cinnamon

  12. nutmeg

  13. 1/4 c butter

  14. Soak tapioca according to box and then drain. Bring water to a boil and add

  15. tapioca. Boil until clear and thick, stirring often.

  16. Cut apples into eighths and place in a 8x8 casserole. Sprinkle with sugar,

  17. cinnamon and nutmeg. Dot with butter. Pour hot tapioca over all. Bake 1/2

  18. hour at 350 or until apples are done.
