  1. 1 pint vanilla ice cream

  2. 4 peach halves whipped cream -- **MELBA SAUCE**

  3. 10 ounces frozen raspberries -- thawed

  4. 1/2 cup currant jelly

  5. 1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch

  6. 1 tablespoon water

  1. Preparation : 1. Place a slice or scoop of ice cream on each dessert plate; top with peach half, cut side down.

  2. Spoon Melba Sauce over peaches; top with whipped cream, if desired. Melba Sauce Makes 1 cup 1. Combine raspberries and jelly; bring to a boil.

  3. Mix cornstarch and water; stir into raspberry mixture.

  4. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly; strain and chill.
