  1. 36 medium button or cremini mushrooms

  2. 1/2 cup chopped onion

  3. 5 ounces fresh baby spinach, thinly sliced

  4. 3 ounces cream cheese, softened

  5. 1/8 teaspoons ground nutmeg

  6. Pinch salt and pepper, to taste

  1. Cheese and Spinach Stuffed Mushrooms Recipe photo by dLife® Preheat oven to 425°F.

  2. Remove stems from mushrooms and chop finely.

  3. In small skillet lightly greased, saute mushroom stems and onion until softened, about 5 minutes.

  4. Add spinach and stir until wilted, 1 to 2 minutes. Let cool, then mix in cheese and nutmeg. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

  5. Place mushroom caps in baking pan and fill with cheese mixture. Bake uncovered until hot through, 5 to 8 minutes.
