  2. 6 quart popped popcorn

  3. 1 cup butter

  4. 2 cups packed dark brown sugar

  5. 1/2 cup light corn syrup

  6. 1 Teaspoon salt

  7. 1/2 Teaspoon baking soda

  8. 1 Teaspoon vanilla

  9. 2 cups nuts -- (2 to 3)

  1. Heat oven to 250'. Melt butter over low heat. Add next 3 ingredients andbring to a boil , stirring constantly. Cover and gently boil withoutstirring for 4 minutes. Remove from heat and carefully add soda andvanilla(it will froth and foam). Spray large baking sheet or roasting pan withcooking oil spray. Combine popcorn and caramel mixture, mixing well.

  2. Spreadpopcorn out on pan. Bake about an hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Coolcompletely. Break apart and store in tightly sealed containe
