  7. 4 pieces cinnamon

  8. 4 onions -- sliced

  9. 1 piece ginger -- (1/2"), crushed

  10. 4 flakes garlic -- (to 6), crushed

  11. 1/2 tablespoon chile powder

  12. 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder

  13. 2 tablespoons coriander leaves -- chopped

  14. 6 green chiles

  15. salt -- to taste

  16. 4 glasses water

  1. In a pressure cooker heat the ghee, then add the cloves, cardamoms, cinnamon, sliced onions and fry for some time. Add crushed ginger and garlic. Add the rice and fry for some time. Then add all the vegetables, chile powder, turmeric powder, coriander leaves, green chiles, salt and water. Close the cooker and cook for 5 minutes under pressure. Remove from fire and serve hot.
