  1. 3 c. thinly sliced tart apples or 1 (20 oz.) can pie sliced apples, well drained

  2. 1 (8 oz.) unbaked pie shell

  3. 1 tbsp. lemon juice

  4. 1/3 c. sugar

  5. 2 tbsp. butter

  6. 1/2 c. flour

  7. 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar

  8. 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

  9. 1/4 tsp. nutmeg

  1. Arrange apple slices in pie shell. Sprinkle with lemon juice and sugar. Mix flour, brown sugar, spices together. Spread over top of pie. Bake at 400 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until apples are tender.
