  1. 1/2 cup Karo light or dark corn syrup

  2. 1/3 cup evaporated milk

  3. 2 pkg. (8 oz. each) semisweet chocolate

  4. 2 teaspoons vanilla

  5. 3/4 cup confectioners sugar , sifted

  6. 1 cup coarsely chopped nut s

  1. Line 8x8x2-inch pan with plastic wrap. In heavy 2-quart saucepan stir corn syrup and milk. Add chocolate. Stirring constantly, cook over medium-low heat until chocolate is melted. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla; add confectioners sugar. With wooden spoon, beat until smooth and creamy. Stir in nuts. Turn into pan. Refrigerate 2 hours of until firm. Turn out onto cutting board; peelk off plastic wrap. Cut into squares.
