  1. Cornmeal Porridge

  3. Boil 1 pint of water in a pot with a pinch of salt, then add some

  4. 1 pint of water with

  5. cup of yellow cornmeal until a smooth mixture is achieved. Pour

  6. the smooth mixture into pot while stirring. After three minutes

  7. lower the fire and stir occasionally, adding a few drops of Vanilla

  8. for taste. Cover pot and leave for 10 - 15 minutes. Serve hot.
