  1. 2tbsp oil

  2. 1 onion (large-chopped)

  3. 1 green chili (chopped)

  4. 1tbsp ginger (chopped)

  5. 1tsp mustard seeds

  6. 2tbsp coconut (grated)

  7. Salt as per taste

  8. 1tsp red chili powder

  9. 1tbsp sambhar powder

  10. 1tsp turmeric powder

  11. 12 curry leaves (chopped)

  12. Cilantro leaves (for garnish)

  13. 2potatoes (boiled and smashed)

  14. cup green peas

  15. 1tbsp lemon juice

  16. cup water

  1. Put 2tbsp of oil in the wok and let become hot enough

  2. When the oil is hot put the mustard seed in it

  3. Add chopped onions, green chilies and ginger when the mustard seeds start to flattering

  4. Stir the ingredients well and now add salt and turmeric powder

  5. Mix them well and when the onions are start to turn golden brown add curry leaves

  6. Then add the grated coconuts with them

  7. Fry them for 2 minutes

  8. Now put the sambhar powder

  9. Put red chili powder

  10. Now add the green peas

  11. Add the boiled and smashed potatoes now

  12. Stir the ingredients well to mix up well

  13. Cook the potatoes for 3-4 minutes

  14. Now pour ½ cup of water and mix well

  15. Cook it for couple of minutes

  16. The water will dry up

  17. Now sprinkle cilantro leaves over the recipe

  18. Pour lemon juice over it

  19. Potato bhaji is ready to serve

  20. Try it with dosa or use it as filling for masala dosa
