  2. 1 cup butter

  3. 3/4 cup dark brown sugar

  4. 1/2 cup sugar

  5. 1 tbls. molasses

  6. 1 tsp. vanilla

  7. 2 eggs

  8. 1 1/2 cups flour

  9. 1/2 tsp. salt

  10. 1 tsp. baking soda

  11. 1/8 tsp. cinnamon

  12. 1 1/2 cups quick oatmeal

  13. Creme filling

  14. 2 tsp. hot water

  15. 1/4 tsp. salt

  16. 2 cups marshmallow creme

  17. 1/2 cup shortening

  18. 1/3 cup powdered sugar

  19. 1/2 tsp. vanilla

  1. Preheat oven to 350 In mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugars, molasses, vanilla and eggs In another mixing, combine flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon Add dry ingredients with wet ingredients and mix to combine Mix in oatmeal Drop by tablespoonful onto ungreased baking sheet Bake 8 minutes, or until cookies are just starting to darken around edges They will still appear moist in the center~~Be careful not to over bake Filling In bowl, dissolve salt in 2 tsp. hot water and set aside to cool In mixing bowl, beat on high Marshmallow Creme, shortening, powdered sugar and vanilla until fluffy Add salt solution and beat until well blended Spread filling over one side of a cookie, and press another cookie on top
