  1. 1/4 cup 40g / 1.4oz Seedless raisins

  2. 1 cup 237ml Cottage cheese - cream style

  3. 2 tablespoons 30ml Vinegar

  4. 1/2 Onion - small, cut up

  5. 1 teaspoon 5ml Chile powder

  6. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Curry powder - to taste

  7. 3/4 teaspoon 3.8ml Salt

  8. 1/8 teaspoon 0.6ml Black pepper - freshly ground

  9. Dipping Vegetables

  10. 1 -- your choice of veggies

  1. Place raisins in small bowl and cover with hot tap water. Let stand 10 minutes. Meanwhile, in blender container, combine cottage cheese, vinegar, onion, chile powder, curry, salt and pepper. Add drained, soaked raisins. Cover and blend at high speed until smooth and creamy. If necessary, add 1 T water in which raisins were soaked (or plain water) to make good dipping consistency.

  2. Serve well chilled with a selection of vegetables, such as cauliflower pieces, carrot sticks, blanched green beans, radish roses. broccoli, celery stick, zucchini sticks, or cooked artichokes.
