  1. Kabobs

  2. 2 tbls. brown sugar

  3. 2 tbls. water

  4. 1 tsp. red pepper flakes , crushed

  5. 1 tsp. ginger , finely chopped

  6. 1 1/2 lbs. chicken breast , boneless and skinless cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces

  7. 1 lb. asparagus , trimmed and cut into 2 inch pieces

  8. 2 tbls. olive oil

  9. 1/2 tsp. salt

  10. Dipping Sauce

  11. 2 cups mayonnaise

  12. 1/4 cup sugar

  13. 1/4 cup soy sauce

  14. 2 tbls. sesame seeds , toasted

  15. 1 tbls. sesame oil

  16. 1/2 tsp. white pepper

  1. Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes

  2. Heat grill to medium high

  3. Add all Kabob ingredients except chicken to mixing bowl and stir to combine

  4. Put in resealable plastic bag with chicken and coat with marinade

  5. Marinade in fridge 2 hours turning occasionally

  6. Drain and discard marinade

  7. In mixing bowl, toss asparagus with olive oil and salt

  8. Alternately thread 1 piece of chicken and 2 pieces of asparagus onto skewers

  9. Grill, covered for 4-5 minutes each side or until chicken is done

  10. Dipping Sauce

  11. In mixing bowl, add all ingredients and mix to blend well

  12. Chill for 2-4 hours
