  1. 4lb chuck blade pot roast , cut 1 1/2 inches thick

  2. 3/4c catsup

  3. 3T all-purpose flour

  4. 1T brown sugar

  5. 2T worcestershire sauce

  6. 1T vinegar

  7. 1tsp salt

  8. 1/2tsp dry mustard

  9. dash pepper

  10. 2 stalks celery ,sliced

  11. 2 medium carrots ,thinly sliced

  12. 1 medium onion ,sliced

  1. Preheat both sides of grill on HIGH for 10 minutes.

  2. Quickly brown roast on both sides.

  3. Turn off one side of grill; turn other side to LOW (300 degrees).

  4. Combine remaining ingredients; spread half on a 24 x 18 inch piece of double heavy foil.

  5. Place roast atop; then remaining mixture.

  6. Fold foil securely around roast.

  7. Place on off side of grill.

  8. Close hood and cook for 1 3/4 to 2 hours or till done.

  9. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
